Privacy, in plain language.
Pet Portrait uses the photos you select, your style choices, and a pseudonymous account identifier to create your portrait. Reference photos and generated images are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
What the app processes
The service processes the pet photos you choose, your style preferences, generation records, and the account information needed to keep purchases and downloads available. Apple processes purchases; Pet Portrait stores transaction identifiers and entitlement state so downloads, restores, refunds, and support requests can be reconciled.
Data lifecycle
- Abandoned draft uploads are deleted after 24 hours.
- Completed project data remains available until you delete the project or your account.
- Watermarked previews are visible only through owner-authorized links. Full-resolution originals require a verified entitlement.
- Account deletion blocks access and removes photos, projects, previews, and originals. Only pseudonymized purchase records required for reconciliation are retained.
- Operational logs contain system identifiers, not photo bytes, prompts, signed transactions, or download URLs.
Your controls
You can delete your account in the iPhone app under Settings → Privacy → Manage and delete account. You can also contact support for privacy or deletion help.
Service providers
Firebase supplies authentication, database, storage, task processing, and operational logging. OpenAI generates the requested portrait from customer-provided references and style direction. Apple supplies Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases.
